1st Annual SnowFest & Benefit Dinner March 1, 2015

The Meeker Education Foundation will hold its First Annual SnowFest & Benefit Dinner on March 1st.  The day will include (competitive and non-competitive) cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing & sledding at the Marvine Campground from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (cosponsored by the ERBM Recreation & Park District) and a Benefit Dinner and Auction at the Freeman Fairfield Center, Meeker, at 6:00 PM.

The fundraiser will provide staff and student grant awards for academic/activity enrichment opportunities, professional development and classroom needs.

Tickets ($40.00, Students - $10, 5 and under -free) are available at the Meeker Chamber of Commerce.

Included in the auction will be an Overnight Trip for 2 to Big Fish Lake, donated by Adams Lodge Outfitters (additional people can be added for $200 @); an All Day Ride for 2 donated by Sable Mountain Outfitters (additional people can be added at $125@); artwork by local artists; and special event decorated cake by Vicky Crawford.  Watch for updates to this list!
